The Division of Administration provides technical, financial and management support to all DMH/MR service sectors via several specialized sections. The division houses several bureaus/offices: Bureau of Finance, which encompasses Purchasing, Compensation Services (Payroll), Accounting Operations, Accounts Payable, and Contracts and Grants; Bureau of Information Technology; Bureau of Human Resources; and the Offices of Staff Development, Life Safety and Technical Services, Contracts, Land and Construction Management, Support Services, as well as the OBRA Preadmission Screening Office, which is responsible for preadmission screening to nursing home facilities.

A. Each year DMH/MR contracts with vendors and suppliers for an array of goods and services for our facilities, regional offices and clients. Requests for Proposals are generally posted in the major newspapers throughout the state and on the web.

Q. What do I do if I have a problem with payroll or did not receive my paycheck on time?

A. If you encounter a problem with payroll you should first contact your facility/regional office or central office timekeeper or facility business manager.
