The mission of the Office of Staff Development is to provide and
support organized activities and opportunities that will enhance job
performance, personal growth, and meet the needs of Alabama Department
of Mental Health and Mental Retardation employees.
Continuing Educational credits are available for selected training
events and activities, including seminars, conferences, retreats,
special programs, workshops, employee orientation programs, and core
curricula topics planned in accordance with the standards set by
accrediting boards and councils. The Alabama Department of Mental Health
and Mental Retardation is an approved provider of continuing education
by the following associations:
